2 Bid Bond
A 5% Bid Bond, which may be held by the City for up to 60 days, must accompany the bid in the form of Cashier’s
Check, Money Order or Bid Bond Form. No personal checks or cash will be accepted.
If utilizing a Cashiers Check or Money Order, the Check or Money Order MUST be received by the Purchasing
Agent of the City of St. Joseph prior to bid closing. Bidder may also upload a copy of the check or money order on
the attachments tab. If the Original Cashiers Check or Money Order is not received by Purchasing Agent prior to bid
closing, the bid will be rejected.

3 Completion Time
Demolition must be completed in 14 Calendar Days date of notice to proceed from the City. Indicate your

4 Performance & Maintenance and Payment Bond
If awarded a bid, and the contract amount exceeds $10,000.00, a Performance & Maintenance Bond, as well as a
Payment Bond will be required from the awarded bidder.

5 Attachments Required

6 Communications Statement
Contact between vendors and City of St. Joseph personnel during the proposal process or evaluation process is
prohibited. Any attempt by vendors during the proposal process to contact City of St. Joseph personnel may result
in disqualification. All communication shall go through the Purchasing Division during this competitive process. All
questions, if applicable, received and the corresponding answers will be in writing. No verbal responses will be
provided. The deadline for questions about this proposal is stated in the Bid Activities and the City will not respond
to questions after this time and date. The vendors will be responsible for checking the website for any posted
addenda.
