A new fire station to be located on Spring ForestRoad near the current Fire Station #15.A qualified firm will be selected to provide geotechnical investigations and recommendationsin support of the construction, construction materials inspection and testing services, specialinspection services, and any third-party inspection services required for construction permits.Proposed offerors must prove that they possess the requisite experience, skills, technicaland administrative capability, and capacity to participate in a team approach to projectdelivery.It is anticipated that all services will be on a periodic on-call basis although there may beperiods during the construction when continuous inspection may be required to the meetschedule and follow the technical requirements pertaining to the construction of the facility,and other constraints.The City reserves the right to select and award a single contract for both projects orselect and award separate contracts for each project.A detailed scope of services is provided in Section 4 of this document.Information related to this solicitation, including any addenda, will be posted to the NorthCarolina electronic Vendor Portal (eVP) at: https://evp.nc.gov/solicitations/All questions related to this solicitation must be submitted in writing (via email) to the followingindividual:Contact NameReese WamsleyEmail Addressreese.wamsley@raleighnc.govQuestions submitted via telephone will not be answered.
