Description: The City of Winooski is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: 2026 Road Resurfacing Contract No. STR-27-02. For full details and instructions, download the bid advertisement . Sealed Bids for the construction of the Project, submitted in an opaque package labeled “2026 Paving,” will be received at Winooski City Hall, attn: Finance Director, located at 27 West Allen Street, Winooski, VT 05404, until Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at 12:00 pm local time. Wednesday, May 6, 2026 12:00 pm local time (See Addendum No.1) At 12:15 pm, the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. A Bid tabulation will be sent to all Bidders after Bid opening. The Project includes the following Work: Pavement resurfacing three Class 3 Highways in Winooski, Vermont: 1) Cedar Street north of Brisson Court, 2) Dufresne Drive, and 3) Pinegrove Terrace. The Work includes estimated quantities as follows: cold planing 11,800 square yards of bituminous concrete pavement, resurfacing with 1,130 tons of bituminous concrete wearing course, and traffic control during construction. Add-alternate scope includes reconstruction of limited segment of concrete curb with concrete sidewalk and turf restoration at the cul-de-sac of Dufresne Drive. The Project has a Substantial Completion deadline of Friday, September 4, 2026, and a Final Completion deadline of Friday, September 18, 2025.
