PURPOSE OF REQUEST FOR INFORMATIONThe Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) is initiating this Request forInformation (RFI) to solicit information regarding identifying qualified vendors capable ofsupplying a range of professional video and audio production equipment for use ineducational, training, and communications settings. This RFI is issued for informationalRFI No. 2026-10Rev. 11/25Page 3 of 9planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation for bids or proposals, nordoes it guarantee a future procurement.A.3. BACKGROUNDLed by Superintendent Chris Reykdal, OSPI is the primary agency charged with overseeing publicK–12 education in Washington state. Working with the state's two hundred ninety-five (295)public school districts and eight (8) state-tribal education compact schools, OSPI allocatesfunding and provides tools, resources, and technical assistance so every student in Washingtonis provided a high-quality public education.OSPI supports statewide multimedia production efforts to inform, engage, and educate publicaudiences. This includes the creation of short films, documentaries, live streaming, instructionalvideos, and reels. Our agency is seeking equipment to upgrade or expand our currentproduction capabilities in alignment with emerging media standards and accessibilityrequirements.A.4. OBJECTIVE AND SCOPE OF WORKA. Objective: Our objective is to gather information from qualified vendors capable ofsupplying a range of professional video and audio production equipment for use ineducational, training, and communications settings.B. Scope of Work OSPI is seeking qualified vendors to supply video/audio equipment onan as-needed basis to support the Communications team’s work for the agency.A.5.
