This project consists of installing vertical protection in bike lane buffers alongtwo corridors and wayfinding signage for several neighborhood bike routes. Both subprojectsrequire significant amounts of specialty pavement markings, including bike lane green andpreformed thermoplastic. This project shall conform to the North Carolina Department ofTransportation Standard Specifications for Roads and Structures, January 2024 and anyaddendum.The completion date is 240 calendar days after receiving notice to proceed. Liquidateddamages for this project are $600.00 per calendar day for failure to complete this project by thecompletion date.Project-Specific DetailsIn accordance with the City’s Equal Business Opportunity Program (EBOP), this projecthas participation goals of 0% Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and 7% Women BusinessEnterprise (WBE) of the contract value.A presubmittal meeting will be held for this project on April 16, 2026 at 2:00pm. The total amount bid shall be written in figures in the proper place on the bid sheet. The total amount shall bedetermined by adding the amounts bid for each item.6. Changes in any entry shall be made by marking through the entry in ink and making the correct entry adjacentthereto in ink. A representative of the Bidder shall initial the change in ink.7.
