Description: Clear Creek County Sheriff’s Office Request for Proposal (RFP) for the purchase of an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle aka Drone Review Full RFP Date: 12/05/2024 I. Introduction Clear Creek County is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide the Clear Creek County Sheriff's Department with a drone for use within the organization.  This drone will be used to assist the Sheriff’s Office in the performance its duties.  We are looking to purchase one drone containing the specifications and design criteria detailed below, that will be suitable for our needs. II. Objective The primary objectives of this RFP are as follows: Obtain multiple quotes for the purchase of a drone for use by the Clear Creek County Sheriff’s Office Enhance the ability of the Sheriff’s Department to complete its duties in a more efficient and safe manner for our employees. Improve the ability to perform searches over large areas more quickly and efficiently. III. Scope of Work Interested vendors will provide a price quote for a drone using the following specifications, to the Sheriff’s Office for review and consideration in the selection process to obtain a drone at the best possible rate: Thermal Imaging: Equivalent Focal Length: 40 mm Resolution: 640×512 Frame Rate: 30fps Measurement Accuracy: ±2°C or ±2%3 Wide-angle Lens capability: Equivalent Focal Length: 24 mm, DFOV: 84° 12 MP 1/2'' CMOS Sensor Video Resolution: 4K/30fps Zoom Lens capability: 48 MP 1/2'' CMOS Sensor 5x-16x Optical Zoom 200x Max. Hybrid Zoom Photo Resolution: 8K Video Resolution: 4K/30fps Laser rangefinder capability: Range: 3 m - 1200 m Accuracy: ±(0.2m+D×0.15%)4 Extreme Weather Operation (IP54) Waterproof & Dustproof -20°C to 50°C Capable in climates both hot and cold BS30 IBS30 Smart Battery Station A portable battery charging solution encased in a convenient waterproof case on wheels, allowing simultaneous charging of 4 battery pairs (within approx. 30 mins), and two RC PLUS controller batteries (Drone Controller, which comes standard with the Drone) TB30 Intelligent Flight Battery (6 units or 3 pairs ) Each battery supports self-heating for cold environments, hot-swapping for fast turnarounds, and 400 charge cycles for increased operational efficiency.
