PROJECT INFORMATION

Notice to Bidders: Qualified bidders may submit bids for project as described in this Document. Submit bids according to the Instructions to Bidders.
Project Identification: Our Lady Help of Christians Roof Replacement of the Church and Hall

Project Location: 710 State Street, Jennings, LA 70546

Owner: Diocese of Lake Charles

Owner's Representative: Stephanie D. Rodrigue

Architect: Hoffpauir Studio, LLC
Project Description: Project consists of Roof Replacement to the existing Our Lady Help of Christians Church and Hall Buildings as described in the Drawings and Specifications.
Construction Contract: Bids will be received for the following Work:

General Contract (all trades).

BID SUBMITTAL AND OPENING

Owner will receive sealed lump sum bids until the bid time and date online via Central Bidding. Owner will consider bids prepared in compliance with the Instructions to Bidders issued by Owner, and uploaded as follows:

Bid Date: November 07, 2024
Bid Time: 2:00 p.m., local time

PREBID MEETING

Prebid Meeting: A Prebid meeting for all bidders will be held at on site on October 22, 2024 at 10:00 a.m., local time. Prospective prime bidders are required to attend.

Bidders' Questions: Architect will provide responses at Prebid conference to bidders' questions received up to two business days prior to conference.

DOCUMENTS

Online Procurement and Contracting Documents: Obtain access after October 09, 2024, by contacting Central Bidding. Online access will be provided to prime bidders only.

TIME OF COMPLETION AND LIQUIDATED DAMAGES

Successful bidder shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall complete the Work within 120 calendar days.  Work is subject to liquidated damages in the amount of $250.00 per calendar day.

BIDDER'S QUALIFICATIONS

Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work.  A Performance Bond, separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder.
