Conditions of Invitation to BidTerms of AgreementThis service is for a one (1) year base period Fiscal Year 2027 (FY27) July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027.Liability of Cost and ResponsibilityCCWD shall not be liable for any costs incurred in response to this ITBs. All costs shall be borne by theperson or organization responding to the request. The person or organization responding to therequest shall hold CCWD harmless from any and all liability, claim or expense whatsoever incurred byor on behalf of that person or organization. All submitted material becomes the property of ContraCosta Water District.InsuranceCCWD has initiated an insurance compliance program. This program requires all companies providingproducts and services to CCWD to have in place insurance coverage prior to the issuance of anycontract. Once the most responsive bidder has been established, that vendor will have until 15 daysafter selection to provide all required insurance documents per the samples provided and register withCCWD’s insurance compliance tracking system, MyCOI. Failure to provide this insurancedocumentation will result in CCWD considering this bid or response to be unresponsive.Business LicenseBusiness licenses will be verified with the issuing agencies and references will be checked.Page 2 of 4Prevailing WagePursuant to Section 1770, et seq., of the California Labor Code, the successful bidder shall pay not lessthan the prevailing rate of per diem wages as determined by the Director of the California Departmentof Industrial Relations. Distributors are requiredto provide part numbers for lead-fee products where no product number exists on the pricing sheet.CCWD is solitciting domestic products only. If no domestic product is available, please clearly denotethat an import is being substitued including the manufacturer’s complete product information.
