Description: TOWN OF WESTFIELD INVITATION TO BID Sealed proposals will be received by the Town of Westfield in the Council Chambers at the Municipal Building, 425 East Broad Street, Westfield, New Jersey, at 10:00 AM prevailing time on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, for the following: “FURNISHING AND DELIVERING OF CROSSING GUARD SERVICES FOR THE TOWN OF WESTFIELD FROM SEPTEMBER 1, 2026 THROUGH JUNE 16, 2027” The work of this contract shall consist of providing Crossing Guard services for approximately 34 established posts in the Town of Westfield, for the Westfield Police Department, as specified and described in the bid documents. All bidders must submit with their bid a copy of their New Jersey Business Registration Certificate. Failure to submit proof of registration will disqualify the bid. Bidders are encouraged to mail in your bid responses in a timely manner via USPS, UPS and FedEx, etc. If they must be hand-delivered, potential bidders may contact the Office of the Town Clerk (908-789-4030, ext. 4032, or For security reasons, you must enable JavaScript to view this E-mail address.) to arrange a drop off at Westfield Municipal Building, 425 East Broad Street, West, Westfield, NJ 07090. Sealed bids must include one (1) PDF file of the bid on a flash drive/CD. As always, it is the bidder’s responsibility to ensure that all bids are timely submitted in order to be received in the correct location by the time and date as specified. Bids received after the designated time and date will be returned unopened. Proposals shall be in writing on the forms furnished and must be delivered at the place and before the hour mentioned above, and must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or Bid Bond, drawn to the order of the Town of Westfield for $5,000. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 et seq. A complete statement as to these requirements is included in the specifications. Plans and specifications may be seen or procured at the office of the Town Clerk, 425 East Broad Street, Westfield, New Jersey.   The Mayor and Council reserve the right to reject any bid, and to waive any informality in any bid, if in the interest of the Town, it is deemed advisable to do so.
