LEGAL NOTICESealed bids will be received by the City Engineer on behalf of the Director of Administration,City of Wooster, State of Ohio, at the office of said City Engineer, 538 N. Market Street, Wooster,Ohio, 44691 until twelve o'clock noon, Thursday, January 15, 2026 for the 2026 Wooster StreetsResurfacing in accordance with the specifications on file in said office.Project Description: This project consists of the resurfacing of approximately 14,248 square yardsof asphalt concrete pavement on portions of Williams Way, McDonald Street, College Avenue,and East Pine Street.Project Cost: The Engineer’s estimated construction cost for this project is $350,000.Project Completion Date: September 1, 2026.Each bid must contain the full name of every person or company interested in the same, and beaccompanied by a bidding bond or a certified check in the amount of 10% of the bid price as aguaranty that if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into and its performance securedOR provide a contract bond for 100% of the bid amount.Copies of the contract documents are on file in the office of the City Engineer, City of Wooster,Ohio and are available for inspection by prospective bidders in the office or on the city’s biddinginformation webpage https://www.woosteroh.com/engineering/bidding-information. Biddersmust register for the plans through the city’s ViewPoint website. Bidders must be registered fortheir bids to be considered. Bid book and plans will be sent electronically.Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Wayne Countyand the City of Wooster, Ohio as determined by the Ohio Department of Industrial Relations.All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable useOhio Products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of their project.
