NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Notice is hereby given that sealed bids for the following project:
CONTRACT #2 NASH PARK IMPROVEMENTS
will be received on Wednesday, March 5, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. (prevailing time), at which time they will
be publicly opened and read by the Purchasing Agent of the City of Clifton in Conference Room 101, at
City Hall, 900 Clifton Avenue, Clifton NJ 07013.
Proposals are to be delivered no later than the prevailing due date and time indicated above, but it is strongly
urged that Proposals be delivered ahead of the above bid opening time. Proposals shall be delivered to the
Finance Office, located on the 2nd Floor of 900 Clifton Ave, Clifton, County of Passaic, New Jersey 07013,
attention of Ms. Amisha Jariwala, Purchasing Agent. The City of Clifton is prohibited from publicly
opening Proposals on Mondays or any day directly following a State or Federal holiday, in accordance with
N.J.S.A. 40A:11-23 a and b.
Commencing on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, bid documents for this project will be available for review
and/or purchase (link) between the hours of 9:00 a.m. & 4:00 p.m. on business days at the offices of LAN
Associates, Engineering, Planning, Architecture, Surveying, Inc. (LAN), 445 Godwin Avenue, Midland
Park, NJ 07432. Bid documents shall be available via an email link. A Fifty ($50) Dollar non-refundable
deposit for each bid package via cash, check (made payable to LAN Associates, Engineering, Planning,
Architecture, Surveying, Inc. (LAN)), Visa, MasterCard, AmericanExpress, or Discover is required for
each link. Please contact LAN via Email biddocs@lanassociates.com or Telephone #201-447-6400.
Documents will not be sent via overnight mail or US mail.

A Pre-Bid Conference for the purpose of reviewing scope and considering questions posed by all Bidders
will be held on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Nash Park Parking Lot, 700 Lexington
Avenue, Clifton, NJ 07011. It is STRONGLY RECOMMENDED that Bidders attend the Pre-Bid
Conference for purposes of clarifying specific information concerning the Project work, hearing other
Bidders’ questions regarding various aspects of the Project and the answers thereto, and learning the manner
of proper completion and submission of the Bid Documents to ensure a responsive Bid. A Bidder’s failure
to attend the Pre-Bid Conference is at its own risk. The last day for questions shall be Wednesday,
February 18, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. Addenda will be issued no later than Monday, February 23, 2026.
Required bidder information can be found in the specification documents. This Proposal is
solicited through a fair and open process, in accordance with N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.4 et seq.
Bidders shall comply with the requirements N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 (P.L. 1975, c.127) and N.J.A.C.
17:27-1 et seq.
