The City of Maryville is requesting electronically or hard copy submitted bids for FY 2027 Chemicals for Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants. Responses will be accepted by the City of Maryville Purchasing Department until 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time on June 23, 2026. Chemicals must be new, unless otherwiseapproved prior to purchase by the City’s designee. Chemicals must be delivered to the City of Maryville facilityas noted on the bid form. Bid price must be all-inclusive, full-delivered price. No additional fees (e.g. shipping,energy surcharge) will be paid.Quantities listed, if any, are estimates only and are not guaranteed. The City makes to commitment topurchase any minimum or maximum quantity.Bids will be awarded based on price, previously demonstrated performance of chemicals, and ability to deliveryin a timely manner.CONTRACT TERMSTerm of ContractThe contract term shall run from July 01, 2026 through June 30, 2027, unless sooner terminated as providedherein.2Termination for ConvenienceThe City may terminate this Contract, in whole or in part, at any time for their convenience upon thirty days’written notice to the supplier. The supplier shall be compensated only for goods and/or services deliveredand/or provided and accepted by the City prior to the effective date of the termination.Non-Appropriation ClauseThe continuation of this Contract is subject to the appropriation and availability of funds. In the event funds arenot appropriated, the City reserves the right to terminate this Contract without penalty upon written notice to thesupplier.PURCHASE DETAILSDeliveryDelivery shall be FOB Destination, freight prepaid and allowed, to the City of Maryville Water Filtration Plantand Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant. The supplier shall bear all risk of loss until delivery to andacceptance by the City.Product AvailabilitySupplier shall maintain or have access to sufficient inventory of chemicals supplied under this Contract toprovide uninterrupted delivery of chemicals as needed. In the event of an emergency and/or natural disaster,awarded supplier must be able to deliver chemicals within five business days from the date of order.Turnaround ExpectationsThe awarded supplier will be expected to maintain a minimum stock of product in their warehouse at all timesin order to promptly fill any order placed by the City of Mayville, Tennessee.Trial UseA trial use of an unapproved product may be required before the bid is awarded. Please state your price andprice firmness validity. All quantities are approximate and may vary depending on treatment conditions ortreatment process changes.3SPECIFICATIONSIn order for a bidder to be deemed responsive (i.e.: complies with all requirements listed in the solicitation andtheir submittal will be included in the evaluation process), they must:Refer to the attached required specification sheet included in the bid document and bidas per specified. Due to equipment currently in operation, the City retains the right not toaccept alternates for some proprietary products. City further reserves the right topurchase a blended product, if needed, due to season needs or water quality and/ortemperature.Quantities provided for informational purposes only; the City’s needs may require the purchaseof more or less chemicals.
