Project Description
Description: Rental Rehabilitation Project (1024 Prospect Avenue NE)
Opening Date/Time: May 18, 2026 :
Closing Date/Time: Open Until Contracted

The City of Olympia is requesting bids from qualified contractors to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to rehabilitate an occupied 12‑unit multifamily building. This work supports the City’s goals of preserving and improving the community’s existing affordable housing stock. Solicitations for each trade discipline will be issued separately and on a staggered schedule.

The anticipated total cost of all work across all disciplines is expected to remain below $250,000.

This project is federally funded through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program, which provides resources for the rehabilitation of affordable rental housing within the City. As a federally funded public works project, it is subject to applicable federal labor standards, contracting requirements, and domestic‑sourcing requirements. All project‑specific details, technical specifications, site requirements, and compliance obligations will be provided within the individual solicitations at the time they are issued.

On June 3, 2026, the City will issue a solicitation for window replacement to contractors registered in the "Facilities – Residential (General)" category of the MRSC Small Works Roster. To be eligible to bid, contractors must be registered in this category for the City of Olympia no later than 4:00 p.m. on June 3, 2026.
