Notes	The City of Ames  is accepting bids from qualified contractors for the installation of two (2) Level 2 Electric Vehicle (EV) charging station and related buried electrical lines and equipment. All responses must be submitted before the deadline. No late responses will be reviewed. No bidder may withdraw their bid for at least sixty (60) days after the scheduled closing time for receiving bids. The City of Ames reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to make such awards as it shall deem to be in the best interest of the City.

The City of Ames is accepting bids from qualified contractors for the installation of

two (2) Level 2 Electric Vehicle (EV) charging station and related buried electrical

lines and equipment.

Contractor shall be a certified installer of ChargePoint EV charging stations.

Companies wishing to become certified installers can complete an online course.

3 Performance and Payment Bond

This purchase is subject to Iowa Sales Tax. The Supplier is subject to payment of Iowa income tax in amounts

The Ames City Council passed a resolution adopting a Local Consideration Program for the procurement of goods

and/or services by competitive bid or proposal. A 1% local consideration shall be applied to acceptable bids or
