Description: LEGAL NOTICE: REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP 2026-500) Taylor County, Texas, is soliciting sealed proposals for Jail Facility Detention Slider Retrofit and Replacement. • Deadline: Proposals must be received by 2:00 P.M., Thursday, May 21, 2026, MAY 28, 2026- (ADDENDUM #2) at the Taylor County Purchasing Office, 600 Pecan Street, Abilene, Texas 79602. • Project Scope: Retrofit and replacement of detention sliders across four sections: Sally Port (12), Female Cell Run (16), Booking/Detox (5), and FM7 Unit (3). • Mandatory Site Inspection: A site visit is required prior to bidding; failure to do so will disqualify the bid.
