NOTICE TO BIDDERS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bids will be received for the Contract COOLING TOWER STRUCTURE PAINTING AT POWER PLANT ROOF TOP 25-096-FM on or before August 13, 2025, at 2:30 p.m. Solicitation documents, including specifications, may be obtained by email at henry.kocker@dupagecounty.gov or at www.DemandStar.com . All Bids must be received prior to the date and time shown above.

Electronic signatures are allowed, and Bids do not have to be notarized. The County accepts no responsibility for transmission failures or content omissions. Bids transmitted in person, by mail or by facsimile (“Fax”) will not be accepted.

STATEMENT OF WORK

DuPage County Facilities Management (“County”) is seeking a bidder to furnish and deliver all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to perform surface preparation and protective coating (painting) of steel structures on the roof top of the 410 Power Plant Cooling Tower Structure located at 410 North County Farm Road, Wheaton, IL.

The awarded bidder shall adhere to all specifications outlined in the Scope of Work, including proper surface preparation, application of rust-inhibitive primer, and high-performance exterior-grade topcoat. As part of the bid submission, contractors shall provide a detailed proposal including descriptions of all products to be used, including manufacturer, product name, technical data sheets, safety data sheets, and application methods. No substitutions or deviations from specified requirements shall be accepted without prior written approval by the County.
