Bid Title:	2024 CIPP Sewer Rehabilitation

Description: The Town of Normal Public Works Department will receive sealed bids for the following: 2024 CIPP Sewer Rehabilitation Bids must be submitted to the Town Clerk in a sealed envelope clearly marked "2024 CIPP Sewer Rehabilitation" with the time and date of the opening, which will be February 13th, 2025, at 1:30 p.m. prevailing time, at the Normal City Hall, 11 Uptown Circle, Normal, Illinois 61761. Bids will be opened in the Union Pacific Conference Room – Room 338 at City Hall. Work includes, but is not limited to, installing approximately 27,391 lineal feet of cured-in-place-pipe (CIPP) in various sized sanitary sewers and approximately 86 lineal feet of cured-in-place-pipe (CIPP) in 12- inch diameter storm sewer, sewer point repairs, rehabilitation of approximately 14 sewer laterals, inspection of approximately 7 sewer laterals, pre and post rehabilitation inspection, along with associated bypassing of flows, service reinstatements and site restoration. Any questions regarding this bid will be addressed in a pre-bid meeting on January 30th, 2025, at 1:30 p.m. per project documents. Participation in the pre-bid meeting is highly encouraged but is not mandatory. Town employees are otherwise prohibited from answering questions prior to the bid opening. State statutes and local ordinance require the payment of prevailing wage by all contractors and subcontractors on this job. The bid award will be made by the Town Council and their decision will be final.
