The Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs intends to renew an agreement with the National Association of State Veterans Homes for up to 12 months to provide membership for state veterans’ homes. The association provides critical education that is available only to state Veterans Homes, advocacy in relationships with the federal Veterans Administration and resources to provide support for successful operations.

Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs has determined that the National Association of State Veterans Homes is the only organization reasonably available to provide support for successful operations. This is deemed a single source purchase because the National Association of State Veterans Homes organization is the only organization that represents state Veterans Homes and offers membership and is not available from other third parties.
