Project Description: This solicitation is a re-issuance of RFB 2026-01. The original solicitation was canceled after bid opening due to the need for clarification and expansion of required bid elements and scope of work.
Volunteers of America, Utah
The purpose of this Request for Bids (RFB) is to enter into a contract with a qualified contractor to furnish and install a complete, fully operational, and code-compliant electronic rolling security gate system, including an access control pedestal and perimeter fencing, for the staff parking lot at the Volunteers of America, Utah Youth Resource Center located in Salt Lake City, Utah.
The selected contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, permits, inspections, and incidentals necessary to deliver a turnkey security gate and fencing system that supports the safe and uninterrupted operation of the facility.
This project is funded in whole by Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds and is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local requirements. Compliance with the Davis-Bacon and Related Acts (DBRA) prevailing wage requirements is mandatory. All contractors and subcontractors performing work under this RFB must be Davis-Bacon compliant and shall pay applicable prevailing wages as determined by the U.S. Department of Labor.
