The City reserves the right to acceptor reject any response for any or no reason and to waive any minor irregularity if determined to be in thebest interest of the City of Greenville.Selection of ProposalsOnce the winning proposal is selected, the City will draft an agreement. Upon bidder approval andexecution, it will be presented to Council for approval.GARCC Theatre Drapery Project | 3Scope of WorkThe Greenville Area Community Center in the City of Greenville is requesting proposals to upgradedrapery at the back of the theater and to adjust the location of the onstage drapery.Any quantities, measurements, or equipment stated are estimates only, and each contractor is responsiblefor assessing bid specifications and theater needs. Failure to assess the bid specifications and obtain yourown measurements will not relieve the successful bidder of an obligation to furnish all products and labornecessary to carry out the provisions of the contract and to provide a turnkey product.An independent site visit and inspection tour may be scheduled upon vendor request. ContactTheater Coordinator, Maddi Mayle, to schedule a meeting. Site visits must be conducted prior toApr. 8, 2026.REAR OF HOUSE DRAPERY REPLACEMENT SPECIFICATIONSContractors must provide and install drapery according to requirements below.General Requirements:1. Examine existing drapery and track at the back of the House. Take the necessary measurements toensure accuracy.2. Remove and dispose of existing drapery and track.3. Provide all necessary preparation and installation materials.4. Furnish and install new track and drapery.Drapery Specifications:1. Drapery description:a. 20oz Crescent IFR with 50% fullnessb. Chain in enclosed pocketc. Color: Black2. Mounted to ceiling or wall as needed3. Misc. Hardware as neededONSTAGE DRAPERY ADJUSTMENT SPECIFICATIONSContractors must adjust onstage drapery according to requirements belowGeneral Requirements:1. Remove mid border drape.2. Move Stage Left and Stage Right second leg drapes upstage approximately two feet.3. Ensure new location has optimal sight lines and full functionality of both legs. If unsatisfactory,make necessary adjustments.GARCC Theatre Drapery Project | 4General Project SpecificationsSubmittals1. Product Data: Include construction details, material descriptions, and any substitutions forproducts listed in bid specifications. If substituting any fixture, material, etc., provide a side-by-side comparison of substitute and original listed above.ExecutionA. EXAMINATION1. Examine areas where drapery is to be installed and adjusted, with Installer present, forcompliance with requirements for installation tolerances and other conditions affectingperformance of the Work.2. Proceed with installation only after unsatisfactory conditions have been corrected.B. INSTALLATION1. Install materials to comply with reference safety standards and manufacturer’s writteninstructions.Commencing And Completion Of WorkThe installation schedule shall accommodate any and all use of the theater by the Greenville AreaRecreation & Community Center.
