Description: REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS JUDICIAL SERVICES Space Needs Assessment RILEY COUNTY, KANSAS The Riley County Board of Commissioners is soliciting proposals from qualified and experienced consulting firms to conduct a comprehensive Space Needs Assessment for the County’s Judicial Services Departments, including the Courthouse, County Attorney, and Community Corrections. The selected firm will: Evaluate and program current and future space needs for all identified departments. Assess existing facilities to determine their capacity to meet operational   demands. Compare current space availability with future needs to identify gaps or inefficiencies. Analyze the feasibility of renovation, expansion, or the construction of new facilities to meet identified needs. Demonstrate expertise in planning and designing modern courthouse and   judicial service facilities, with a focus on functionality, security, and public accessibility. Firms must work collaboratively with county staff and stakeholders to gather input, assess operational workflows, and develop practical, long-term facility recommendations. Any individual(s) or firm(s) proposing to perform architectural/engineering services, environmental services, or preconstruction and construction services must be appropriately licensed and/or registered in the State of Kansas at the time of submittal of qualifications. Statement of Qualifications and the transmittal letter shall be sealed in an envelope or carton and marked on the outside with the words “Riley Space Needs Assessment”.   The envelope or carton should be mailed or delivered to: Rich Vargo, Riley County Clerk’s Office, 110 Courthouse Plaza, Manhattan, Kansas  66502. Proposals are due by 12:00 p.m. on Friday, May 30, 2025.  Any proposal received after that time will be marked “Received Late” and returned unopened to the firm.   Riley County reserves the right to reject any or all qualifications or to request additional information from any or all applicants to be in the best interest of Riley County.
