Description

Nebraska Public Power District (DISTRICT) intends to procure services to perform a preliminary geotechnical investigation for the installation of new generation assets consisting of Simple Cycle Combustion Turbine (SCCT) and Reciprocating Internal Combustion Engine (RICE) technology at the Princeton Road Station Facility as specified herein. The DISTRICT'S new SCCT and RICE are intended to be installed on a section of DISTRICT owned property located approximately 2 1/2 miles north of Hallam, Nebraska. The SCCT and RICE are intended to form a new multi-generation type facility / site to be built at this location.

Pre-Bid Meeting Details

A mandatory pre-bid meeting for prospective Bidders will be held at 4500 West Pella Road, Hallam, Nebraska, on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., CST, for the purpose of reviewing the Contract specifications and to answer any questions or clarifications the Bidder may have concerning the Contract requirements. It is the Bidder’s responsibility, while participating in the pre-bid meeting, to ask any questions necessary to understand the requirements of the Contract so the Bidder can submit a bid that is complete and according to the specifications. It is imperative that all prospective Bidders attend this meeting. Bids will not be accepted from any Bidder not in attendance at the pre-bid meeting. If you plan to participate, email Melinda (Mindy) Evans at maevans@nppd.com and Lori Moore at lmmoore@nppd.com with the names of those representatives planning to participate in this pre-bid and the company they represent.
