Overview

Summary

Tuba City Unified School District (TCUSD) is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide Comprehensive Outsourced Facilities and Maintenance Services. The District seeks a full-service solution to manage, operate, and staff the Facilities Department, ensuring all District facilities and housing units are properly maintained, repaired, and compliant with all applicable regulations. This contract excludes custodial services.

Tuba City Unified School District serves six (6) school sites and approximately 119 employee housing units, located within and around Tuba City, Arizona. The facilities include:

• Tuba City High School

• Tuba City Junior High School

• Tuba City Elementary School

• Tuba City Accelerated Academy

• Dzil Libei Elementary School (approximately 40 minutes south of Tuba City)

• Moenkopi Elementary School (approximately 40 minutes north of Tuba City)

Background

The objective of this solicitation is to secure a qualified service provider capable of assuming full operational responsibility for the District’s Facilities and Maintenance Department. The selected firm will oversee day-to-day maintenance operations, respond to work orders from all District sites, and ensure preventative maintenance and compliance reporting are completed in accordance with Arizona School Facilities Division (SFD) requirements.
