By accessing the Division of Purchases’ webpage https://www.springfieldmo.gov/bids.aspxPrevailing Wage is applicable on public works construction projects valued at more than $75,000.00, such as bridges,roads, and government buildings. All wages paid for public works construction projects valued at more than$75,000.00 under this Contract shall comply with requirements of the prevailing wage law of the State of Missouri,Secs 290.210 and 290.230 et seq., RSMo., as amended by the Division of Labor Standards, State of Missouri, andregulations promulgated by the Division of Labor.For any contract for services greater than $5,000, the successful bidder shall comply with § 285.530, RSMo., asamended, and (1) provide by affidavit affirmation that it does not knowingly employ any person who is anunauthorized alien and (2) provide documentation affirming its enrollment and participation in a federal workauthorization program with respect to the employees working in connection with this contract. The requireddocumentation affirming enrollment must be from the federal work authorization program provider. A letter fromthe respondent reciting compliance is not sufficient. All bids should include the signed and notarized WorkAuthorization Affidavit and the electronic signature page from the E-Verify program. A letter from the Contractorreciting compliance is not sufficient.The City is committed to providing opportunities to DBE, MBE, and WBE prime, general and subcontractors andencourages such business enterprises to submit responses.
