PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, traffic control, and incidentals necessary to remove and replace approximately 110 linear feet of damaged galvanized steel guardrail at the intersection of Kennerly Road and Hausfel Lane.
All work shall comply with the current MoDOT Standard Specifications for Highway Construction, AASHTO Roadside Design Guide, MASH crashworthy requirements, and the latest edition of the MUTCD.
SCOPE OF WORK
The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, and supervision necessary to complete the project including, but not limited to:
• Remove and legally dispose of approximately 110 linear feet of existing damaged guardrail.
• Remove and dispose of damaged steel posts, blockouts, hardware, and terminal components as required.
• Furnish and install approximately 110 linear feet of new galvanized guardrail.
• Furnish and install new galvanized steel posts or approved equivalent in accordance with MoDOT standards.
• Install new composite blockouts as required.
• Install all new galvanized bolts, washers, splice bolts, nuts, and hardware.
• Install a MASH-approved guardrail end terminal if replacement is required.
• Reset or replace terminal anchorage as necessary.
• Adjust guardrail height and alignment to current standards.
• Restore disturbed areas.
• Remove all debris from the project site.
• Provide all traffic control in accordance with the MUTCD.
