Mountain Time.Attachment A: Pre-Bid Agenda & Sign-in SheetAttachment B: Revised Bid FormAttachment C: Geotechnical ReportAttachment D: Cultural Resources ReportQuestion No. 1: Where is the source of construction water for the project? Will there be a costassociated?Answer No. 1: Construction water will be available at the bulk water station at the public safetycomplex at Highway 14. There will be a cost associated with the water – Contractor shall establishan account and can contact County for more information.Question No. 2: Can you identify a laydown/staging area for the project?Answer No. 2: The area directly west of Vital’s construction yard (Behind the Nancy RodriguezCommunity Center).Question No. 3: Can you let us know what the engineered estimated value is on this project?Answer No. 3: No, it will be provided during the Bid Opening.102 Grant Avenue · P.O. Box 276 · Santa Fe, New Mexico 87504-0276 · 505-986-6200 · FAX:505-995-2740 www.santafecountynm.govQuestion No. 4: Does this project require builder risk and/or workmanship insurance?Answer No. 4: No, Builder’s Risk Insurance is not required for this project.Question No. 5: Is this project BABA or AIS?Answer No. 5: No BABA or AIS requirementsQuestion No. 6: Are there any archaeological sites within project limits?Answer No. 6: Cultural Resources Survey for Phase 3 is included as Attachment D to this Addendum.Question No. 7: On Spec section 01 11 00 Summary of Work section 3.02 Liquidated Damages, itcalls out for Max 180 calendar days duration from notice of proceed for entire project but on IFB onbid instructions # 4. Contract times it specifies the number of days for the completion of work ( thecontract time) from the Notice to Proceed is three hundred and fifty (350) days. Can you pleaseclarify?Answer No. 7: 350 days is the correct duration.Question No. 8: The current bid date is the day after a long holiday weekend, can the bid date bemoved to Thursday, May 28th so that bidders and suppliers are not scrambling around the holiday?Answer No. 8: Bid Submittal and Bid Opening are extended to 2:00 pm on June 2nd to allow moretime for bidders and suppliers to get in their numbers.Question No. 9: Has a location been identified to take and dispose of the unsuitable material?Answer No. 9: No, the County does not have a location for those materials. Contractor shall beresponsible for disposing of unsuitable materials.Question No. 10: Can a bid item be created for the removal and disposal of the unsuitable material?Answer No. 10: Yes, bid items have been added for streets requiring import material. See AttachmentB - Revised Bid Form and Attachment C - Geotechnical Report.Question No. 11: Is this project subject to BABA/AIS?Answer No. 11: Refer to answer No. 5.Question No. 12: Will a full-time Traffic Control Supervisor be required on this project?Answer No. 12: No, however, Contractor shall be required to inspect and document daily to ensurecompliance with the Traffic Control Plan.Question No. 13: Are there any archeological/historical areas contractors need to be aware of?Answer No. 13: Refer to answer No. 6.102 Grant Avenue · P.O. Any existingmanhole being tied into via core drilling will require epoxy coating. Per the plans, this will includethe existing tie-in manholes on sheets 14,18,19 and 29 for a total of 4 manholes.Question No. 15: Bid items 24, 45, 127, & 141: Can the language on the bid form be revised toaccurately reflect new manhole quantities AND depths? For example: Bid item 24 should have 10new manholes according to the plans, and roughly 1/3 of the manholes on this project are below 6' indepth, making the "6'-10' deep" designation for the aforementioned bid items erroneous.Answer No. 15: Yes, a new bid item will be included to capture manholes 0’-6’ deep, and quantitieswill be adjusted. See Attachment B - Revised Bid Form.Question No. 16: Sheets WW-25 & WW-26: Will the existing manholes shown on these pagesrequire epoxy coating similar to other existing manholes on this project?Answer No. 16: No, the existing manholes shown on these sheets will not be drilled into as part ofconstruction. The manhole has existing stub-outs and therefore no modifications will be made to themanhole(s) with this project.Question No. 17: Are the low pressure inline/terminal flushing connections considered"manholes"? And are they subject to the same coating requirements specified in section 09 97 23?Answer No. 17: The details for low pressure inline and terminal flushing stations utilize the manholeframe, cover, and 4’ precast manhole sections, and foundation as required. These details do notrequire a coating system per Specification 09 97 23.Please add this Addendum No. 1 to the original proposal documents and refer to proposal documents,hereto as such. This and all subsequent addenda will become part of any resulting contract documentsand have effects as if original issued. All other unaffected sections will have their originalinterpretation and remain in full force and effect.
