ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

Sealed proposals will be received by the Division of Public Works, State of Idaho, at North Idaho College

Facility Operations, Headwaters Complex Conference Room at 701 W. River Avenue, Coeur

d’Alene, Idaho until 2:00 p.m. local time, Pacific Standard Time on Wednesday, January 14, 2025 for

DPW Project 22171: Diesel Bay Remodel, Hedlund Hall, North Idaho College, Coeur d’Alene, ID

A description of the work of this project can be summarized to include Remodel approximately 8,550 sf of

existing diesel bay space to accommodate a flexible space for lecture seating, worktable seating, or presentations

for up to 200 people.Proposals will be opened and publicly read at the above hour and date.

Plans, specifications, proposal forms and other information are on file for examination at the following

locations:

Architects West, Bidders may download digital files at no cost at www.architectswestplans.com;

Hardcopy sets are available with a refundable deposit of $200.00 per set plus a non-refundable fee of

$40.00 per set for handling to be submitted by separate checks. General Contractors and

Mech/Elec/First Tier subcontractors may obtain one (1) set of documents via checks payable to

Architects West and mailed to Abadan Reprographics, 603 E. 2nd Ave Spokane, WA 99202. Deposits

will be returned on receipt of documents for a period of ten days after bid opening, provided they are

complete and in clean, usable condition. Bidders are encouraged to register as a plan holder at

www.architectswestplans.com, and select “Add me as a Plan Holder”. Questions regarding the plan

There will be a Pre-Bid Conference on Friday, December 19, 2025, beginning at 9:00 a.m. local time,

Pacific Standard Time prevailing local time, at the North Idaho College Facility Operations, Headwaters

Complex Conference Room at 701 W. River Avenue, Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Bidders are encouraged to

attend.

A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount, including any add alternates, is required. A Public

Works Contractor's License for the State of Idaho is required to bid on this work.
