QUESTION / COMMENT

1 Existing Signage: Are there existing signs on-

site? If so, who is responsible for their

removal?

2 Submission: What is the method for bid

submisison, email or bid net?

3 Timeline: Would it be possible to grant an

extension for the monument sign portion of the

bid? The June 22nd deadline is quite tight, and

is not achievable.

STATE RESPONSE

No, no existing signs that will need to be

removed.

The State’s preferred completion date for the

monument sign installation is July 22, 2026. If

completing the full monument sign by that date is

not feasible, the State will accept any portion of

the line items that can be completed by July 22,

2026. A ceremony is scheduled for July 23,

2026, so any work that can be completed before

that date is helpful.

No, the State is tax exempt. This project is not

subject to prevailing wage requirements.

There is no “Buy America” guideline for this

project.

Equivalents are acceptable and will be reviewed

during the award process.

The budget for this project is estimated at

$65,000. There is no previous bid.
