NOTICE TO BIDDERSSealed bids for St. Paul Road Bridge Replacement STBG-7302(710), will be received at: St. Paul City Hall,2300 St. Paul Road, St. Paul, Missouri 63366 until 12:00 P.M. (Prevailing Local Time) on January 15th,2026, and at that time will be publicly opened and read.All bids shall be submitted in the form of Certified Mail or delivered in person to St. Paul City Hall. Bidssubmitted via Certified Mail must be delivered by January 15th, 2026 at 12:00 P.M. Bids submitted in personmay be delivered only during the following time periods:January 13th, 2026 from 8:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M.January 14th, 2026 from 8:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M.January 15th, 2026 from 8:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M.The proposed work includes the furnishing of materials, tools, equipment and labor in St. CharlesCounty, Missouri. The construction shall include all work incidental to the furnishing of materials, tools,equipment and labor necessary to construct the box culvert, roadway, and drainage improvements andother appurtenances.Plans and specifications, including the bid form, may be downloaded from Drexel Technologieswww.drexeltech.com beginning Monday, December 22nd, 2025.All labor used in the construction of this public improvement shall be paid a wage no less than the prevailinghourly rate of wages of work of a similar character in this locality as established by the Department of Laborand Industrial Relations (Federal Wage Rate), or state wage rate, whichever is higher.The City of St. Paul, Missouri hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contractentered into pursuant to this advertisement, businesses owned and controlled by socially and economicallydisadvantaged individuals will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation andwill not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, religion, creed, sex, age, ancestry, or nationalorigin in consideration for an award.”All bidders must be on MoDOT’s Qualified Contractor List per Section 102.2 from the current version of theMissouri Standard Specifications for Highway Construction, including all revisions. The contractorquestionnaire must be on file 7 days prior to bid opening.Contractors and sub-contractors who sign a contract to work on public works project provide a 10-HourOSHA construction safety program, or similar program approved by the Department of Labor and IndustrialRelations, to be completed by their on-site employees within sixty (60) days of beginning work on theconstruction project.A certified or cashier’s check or a bid bond in the amount of 5% shall be submitted with each proposal.The City of St. Paul, Missouri reserves the right to reject any or all bids.The DBE Goal for this letting is 0% of the total contract amount.This project will be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder.St. Paul Road Bridge ReplacementSTBG-7302(710)ADV-1
