Division St., Ishpeming, MI 49849, until Wednesday, May 27, 2026. Bids are due by11:00 AM EST, at that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.The Project includes the following Work: Proposed grid-interconnected solar PV system and relatedelectrical work for six (6) campsites at the Brasswire Campground, 234 Malton Road, Ishpeming, MI.Bids are requested for a single prime Contract.OBTAINING THE BIDDING DOCUMENTSThe Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: U.P. Engineers & Architects, Inc., 100 Portage Street,Houghton, MI 49849, Chris Holmes, P.E., cholmes@upea.com (906) 482-4810Prospective Bidders may obtain or examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondaythrough Friday between the hours of 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM Eastern time and may obtain copies of theBidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. Partial sets of Bidding Documents willnot be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full orpartial sets of Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than theIssuing Office.Bidding documents also may be examined at the following Builder Exchanges: Delta County, IronMountain, Marquette; and the office of the City of Ishpeming at 100 E. Division St., Ishpeming, MI49849, on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM. Builder Exchanges areauthorized to share the contract documents with other exchanges.Printed copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office by paying a $50.00non-refundable handling fee for each set of contract documents. Alternatively, bidding documents areavailable as portable document format [PDF] files for a non-refundable charge of $50.00. Make depositchecks for Bidding Documents payable to U.P. Engineers & Architects, Inc.A non-mandatory pre-bid conference for the Project will be held on May 12, 2026, at 12:00 noon, at theIshpeming City Hall, to be followed by a site tour/visit. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is stronglyencouraged but not mandatory.Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
