Description: Archaeologist for Madison County Courthouse Project We are seeking a qualified and experienced Archaeologist to support the Courthouse Project as part of our Request for Proposals (RFP) process. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local archaeological and cultural resource regulations throughout the courthouse's planning and construction phases. Key Responsibilities: Conduct archaeological surveys and assessments of the project site Prepare and submit all necessary archaeological documentation and reports Advise on regulatory compliance and mitigation measures Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and regulatory agencies Monitor construction activities to ensure preservation of significant archaeological resources Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, preferably with public infrastructure or government projects Demonstrated experience with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act and state/local cultural resource laws Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams Proposal Submission: Interested applicants should submit a detailed proposal including: Statement of qualifications and relevant experience Resumes of key personnel Project approach and methodology References from similar projects Proposed budget and timeline For additional information or specifications, contact: Pat Jacobs Architecture Trio 317-418-6933 Sealed bids must be received no later than June 12, 2026, at 5:00 pm and clearly marked “ Archaeologist for Madison County Courthouse Project” Bids will be accepted at the Madison County Commissioners’ Office, PO Box 278, 111 E.
