Project DescriptionThe Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) is planning on replacing (2) Full-Service Maintenance Facilities in variouslocations throughout the State. A/E services for these projects will be selected concurrently. It is anticipated that the topfive (5) ranked A/E teams will be short listed for interviews. An A/E team may be selected for one or multiple projects atthe sole discretion of the Contracting Authority and Owner. These projects and services may be awarded andimplemented in a slightly staggered schedule and utilize General Contracting delivery methods for constructioncontract(s). Scope of ServicesFor projects advertised with an appropriately developed Program of Requirements (“POR”), upon award of theAgreement, commence with Design. For projects without such a POR, upon award of the Agreement, commence bydeveloping the Program of Requirements.The selected A/E, as a portion of its required Scope of Services and prior to submitting its proposals, will discuss andclarify with the Owner and/or the Contracting Authority, the cost breakdown of the A/E Agreement detailed costcomponents to address the Owner’s project requirements. Participate in the Encouraging Diversity, Growth & Equity(EDGE) Program as required by statute and the Agreement.As required by the Agreement, and as properly authorized, provide the following categories of services: ProgramVerification, Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Document Preparation, Bid and Award Support,Conformed Documents, Construction Administration, Post-Construction, and Additional Services of all types.Refer to the Ohio Facilities Construction Manual for additional information about the type and extent of services requiredfor each.
