TOWNSHIP OF WEST WINDSORMERCER COUNTY, NEW JERSEYNotice is hereby given that sealed proposals addressed to the Business Administrator will be received on or beforeFriday, April, 17, 2026, at 1:00 pm, prevailing time, at which time they will be opened and read at the West WindsorTownship Municipal Building, Room A, within the Municipal Complex, 271 Clarksville Road, Princeton Junction,New Jersey for the work described below. Bid packages submitted prior to the day of the bid opening shall besubmitted to the Administration Department in the Municipal Complex. The Township encourages prospectivebidders to submit their sealed proposals prior to April, 17, 2026 via certified mail or overnight delivery along withrequiring a signature. West Windsor is not responsible for bids which are sent for delivery and not received by aTownship employee. At conclusion of the public bid opening and after review from Municipal personnel, the bidresults along with the pertinent documents of the apparent three low bid submissions will be scanned and posted onthe Municipal Website within 48 hours, www.westwindsortwp.gov/.Specifications, plans and bid documents will be available on or after Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at 10:00 am, and maybe examined from the Administration Department located in the West Windsor Township Municipal Building duringthe hours of 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday excluding holidays or obtained upon a non-refundabledeposit of $30.00 per set. The only acceptable methods of payment are cash or a physical check and/or moneyorder. Check shall be made payable to West Windsor Township. Scanned checks are not acceptable. Mailed checksmust include a request for documents with the name of the requested solicitation, as well as the Company Name,Mailing Address, Telephone & Facsimile Numbers as well as Contact Person’s Name & Email Address. A FedExnumber must be provided in order for West Windsor to ship the documents. Cash payments must be submitted in theexact amount.Bids must be submitted on the prescribed form, in a sealed envelope marked:Bid Proposal2026 PUBLIC LAND MAINTENANCECUL DE SAC ISLANDS MAINTENANCEThe work under this contract includes the furnishing of all labor, material and equipment necessary or required tocomplete all work set forth in the contract documents. It is the intention of West Windsor Township to award acontract for Public Lands Maintenance. Under the Local Public Contracts Law, N.J.S.A. 40A: 11-15(7), we arepermitted to renew this contract for two years after the first year for a total of three years. Therefore, we arerequesting bids / costs for three years. The Township reserves the right to renew this contract through thesucceeding two years if desired by the Township. The determination for renewal will be made each year.The Base Bid includes annual maintenance for approximately 131 cul de sac and traffic landscape islands includingweed prevention and removal, mulching, mowing and pruning; and replacement of approximately 50 shrubs.A bid deposit in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond made payable to the Township of West Windsorin the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid, but not to exceed $20,000.00, must accompany eachproposal as a security, which may be forfeited and retained by the Township in lieu of its other legal remedies, if asuccessful bidder's proposal is accepted by the Township and he shall fail to execute and return to the Township therequired contract and/or bonds within ten (10) days after delivery of the prepared contract and/or bond form to him by theTownship.The Township Council reserves the right to reject all proposals in whole or in part or to waive minor informalities as maybe permitted by law.
