General Statement of Work
The Supply Hub Building is a new approximately 248-square-foot accessory storage facility adjacent to the existing Red Rocks Visitor Center designed by Studiotrope Design Collective. The scope of work includes site preparation and selective demolition; construction of reinforced concrete foundations, CMU masonry walls, structural steel framing, and metal roof deck; installation of a green roof system with integrated irrigation and native plantings; and full integration of architectural, structural, civil, landscape, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and technology systems. The project is designed as a Type IIA, fully sprinklered structure supporting Assembly (A-2) occupancy with accessory storage (S-1), and incorporates durable exterior materials, ADA-compliant design, and modern building systems including lighting, ventilation, and access control. Work must be carefully coordinated with existing site utilities and operations, as the facility will remain open to the public throughout construction. Bidders are responsible for providing all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to complete the project in accordance with the IFC Documents, and all applicable codes and regulations.

Prequalification: Each bidder must be prequalified in category 1A Heavy Civil at or above the $15,000,000.00 monetary level in accordance with the City’s Rules and Regulations Governing Prequalification of Contractors. Prevailing Wage and Minimum Wage: Contracts for construction, reconstruction, and remodeling are subject to the City prevailing wage rate requirements established pursuant to Section 20-76, DRMC. City contracts are subject to payment of City Minimum Wage established pursuant to Section 20-82 through 20-84 DRMC.

As the City’s best interests may appear, the Executive Director of the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure reserves the right to waive informalities in, and to reject any or all, submittals.
