Description: NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR PUBLIC WORKS CONSTRUCTION FOR A NEW WATER / MAINTENANCE SHOP FOR THE CITY OF BLACKFOOT The City of Blackfoot seeks to procure qualified public works construction for a new water / maintenance shop to be located at 880 Mitchell Lane, Blackfoot, Idaho. In accordance with the terms and conditions of a final contract, the project shall consist of at least the following: An engineered steel building that is 150 feet by 100 feet, with at least: Four16x16 overhead doors, nine man doors and eight windows Concrete and footings to withstand heavy equipment traffic with a 1’ tall concrete curb Concrete portion of bid to include all excavation, grading and compaction required Concrete floor portion not to include rough-in plumbing, but does include associated concrete finish work around such plumbing with appropriate drainage 2/12 pitch roof Roof loading to include acoustic ceilings and large circulation fans All construction must comply with the City of Blackfoot commercial building requirements.  These requirements can be found at https://cityofblackfoot.org/DocumentCenter/View/2022 , or can be obtained through City Hall. A full set of architectural plans and design is available through City Hall or by contacting Resin Architecture at 305 1 st Street, Idaho Falls, ID 83401; 208-757-5700. Any interested parties shall submit a proposal including at least the following: Name, address and telephone number of public works contractor submitting bid; Requisite licensing information; Time frame proposed for completion of project; Total amount of bid price for described project; and 5.      Any other information relevant you may wish to include. Bid Deadline.  Bids shall be submitted no later than 4:59 p.m. on the 11th day of September, 2026.   Bid envelopes shall be clearly marked on the outside as bid for: Water Shop, City of Blackfoot, Idaho. All bid proposals shall be submitted in writing to the City Clerk of the City of Blackfoot, located at 157 N. Broadway, Blackfoot, Idaho.   All bids will be opened in public September 15, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. in the City Council Chambers at City Hall at the above address.
