Only thesethree (3) firms, appearing in alphabetical order, are eligible to submit Proposals in response to this RFP:1) Charles Pankow Builders, Ltd. & LDA2) Clark Construction Group – CA, LP & Stantec3) Truebeck Construction & TEF DesignWork shall comply with all applicable building codes and regulatory agencies’ standards having jurisdiction overthe design, construction, and operation of the Project.The selection process for the Design-Builder for this Project will occur in a multi-step evaluation as follows:RFQ:RFP Step 1:RFP Step 2:RFP Step 3:CompletedConfidential One-on-One Proposer MeetingProposal Submission1) Interpretive Conceptual Design2) Schedule & Project Management Approach3) Price ProposalOral InterviewThe Anticipated Fixed Budget Limit (FBL) price for the total cost of design and construction shall not exceed $58million. Submittalof these forms is required with Proposal submittal. Approval of this documentation and the SafetyPrequalification evaluation is required prior to award. Proposers shall submit the Safety Prequalification Form viaan online portal link provided in Appendix A1 – Bid Forms (Section 00 45 14), as well as below, on the SanFrancisco Public Utilities Commission (“PUC”) site. Proposers shall also email OSHA forms 300 and 300A for theprevious three (3) years as PDF copies to ContractAdmin.Staff@sfdpw.org.No contractor or subcontractor may be listed in a bid or awarded a contract for a public works project unlessregistered with the DIR as required by Labor Code section 1725.5 [with limited exceptions from this requirementfor proposal purposes only under Labor Code section 1771.1(a)].Minimum wage rates for this project must comply with the current General Prevailing Wage as determined by theState Department of Industrial Relations. Minimum wage rates other than applicable to General Prevailing Wagemust comply with Article 111 “Minimum Compensation” of the San Francisco Labor and Employment Code(redesignated from former Administrative Code, Chapter 12P).In accordance with San Francisco Administrative Code Chapter 6, no proposal is accepted and no contract inexcess of $1.17 Million is awarded by the City and County of San Francisco until such time as (a) the Public WorksCommission approves the contract for award and (b) the Director of Public Works then issues an order of award.Pursuant to Charter Section 3.105, all contract awards are subject to certification by the Controller as to theavailability of funds.
