  Marin County Parks is requesting proposals from qualified firms of certified public accountants to conduct independent annual compliance audits of its Ordinance 3760 (Measure A) quarter-cent sales tax funding source receipts and expenditures, based on the voter-approved Expenditure Plan attached to the Ordinance. This tax measure was originally passed by voters in 2012 and was re-implemented by voters for 9 years in 2022. Requested services do not include compliance auditing of Measure A grantees, including any pass-through or competitive grantees. The selected firm will need to coordinate with County of Marin Department of Finance Internal Audit staff from time to time regarding questions on Measure A accounting procedures.
