Invitation to Bid - Prospect Lake Dam Repairs

The Town of Egremont is accepting sealed bids for Prospect Lake Dam Repairs in North Egremont, Massachusetts. All sealed bids must be submitted by November 13, 2024, at 10:00 AM, when all bids will be open. The Bid Documents are available to download below. They can also be requested by email from Egremont's Chief Procurement Officer, Mary Brazie (egremont@egremont-ma.gov).

There will be two Pre-Bid Meetings: November 1, 2024, at 10:00 AM and November 4, 2024, at 10:00 AM. Both will be held at 50 Prospect Lake Road, North Egremont, MA. 01230. Attendance at either pre-bid meeting is mandatory. Contractors must attend a pre-bid meeting to bid for the project.

Questions are due November 4, 2024. by 1:00 PM and must be submitted in writing to Chief Procurement Officer Mary Brazie by email. Answers to all questions will be shared with all bidders.

Each bid shall include a resume showing similar projects and at least five references for projects completed. A Bid Security shall accompany bids in the form of a bid bond or certified check or a treasurer's or cashier's check issued by a responsible bank or trust company in the amount of five (5) percent of the bid. The ceiling estimate is $700,000,000.

Any addenda issued will be emailed to all plan holders registered with the Town's Procurement Officer and posted to this web page.

Minimum Wage Rates as determined by the Department of Labor and Workforce Development Commissioner under the provision of Massachusetts General Law (M.G.L.) c. 149, 26 to 27D, as amended, apply to this project.

The Town of Egremont reserves the right to accept any bid, in whole or in part, to reject any/or all bids and waive minor irregularities and/or informalities as it deems to be in the town's best interest.

Bids should be mailed to Mary Brazie, Chief Procurement Officer, P.O. Box 369, South Egremont, MA 01258, or hand delivered to Town Hall, 171 Egremont Plain Road, North Egremont, MA 01230. They must be in a sealed envelope marked " Prospect Lake Dam Repairs."
