Q&A Document for Staten Island North Shore Workforce Fund RFP.
New York City Economic Development Corporation (“NYCEDC”) invites nonprofit providers and academic institutions to submit proposals to receive funding from the Staten Island North Shore Workforce Fund (the “Fund”). The objective is to award monetary support to scale current and future workforce programs serving young adults in the North Shore of Staten Island. By providing flexible funding for capacity-building activities, NYCEDC will enable local organizations to design and implement effective workforce programs that respond to the community’s needs.
NYCEDC plans to select multiple nonprofit providers and/or academic institutions on the basis of factors stated in the RFP which include, but are not limited to: the experience and qualifications of respondents, the program vision, the program feasibility, and the program outcomes.
Optional Informational SessionAn optional informational session will be held on Friday, February 13, 2026 at 11:00A.M. virtually. The link to register for the info session is available here.
InquiriesRespondents may submit questions and/or request clarifications from NYCEDC no later than 5:00 PM ET on Friday, March 6, 2026. Answers to all questions will be posted by Friday, March 13, 2026. Questions regarding the subject matter of this RFP will not be accepted after 5:00P.M. on Friday, March 6, 2026, however, technical questions pertaining to downloading and submitting proposals to this RFP may be directed to RFPREQUEST@edc.nyc on or before Friday, March 27, 2026.
