Sealed Bid Proposals will be received by the City of Tuscaloosa, at the Council Chamber of City Hall, 2201 University Boulevard, on December 17, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. local time for this project, at which time bids will be opened and read.
Pre-Bid Conference: Attendance at both the MANDATORY Pre-Bid Conference and the MANDATORY site-visit is required in order for a General Contractor to submit a bid on this Project. The Pre-Bid Conference will be held at the Council Chamber of City Hall, 2201 University Boulevard, on December 3, 2024, at 2:00 p.m.  local time with a site visit to the Tuscaloosa River market located at 1900 Jack Warner Pkwy, Tuscaloosa, AL 35401 immediately following the Pre-Bid Conference.
Project Scope: Removal and disposal of existing units. Furnish and install Two (2) – Twenty Ton Split System AHUs and One (1) 8.5 Ton Split System Outside Air Unit to replace existing. Perform any necessary modifications to existing duct work to accommodate connection with new units. Units shall be compatible with and reconnected to existing Automated Logic Controls.
Award of the contract will be made within fifty (50) calendar days from the date of the bid opening.
Plans and Specifications:  Plans and specifications and all related Contract Documents are open for public inspection at the Office of City of Tuscaloosa Construction, Facilities, & Grounds (CFG), located at 2201 University Boulevard and plans, specifications and other elements of the contract documents may also be obtained from the Office of CFG, designated as the office of the awarding authority for this purpose.
