Notes	*** THIS IS NOT A BID *** The description of services intended for purchase from a single source is posted in accordance with section 3.9, Lee County Procurement Ordinance 25-11 and will be posted for a minimum of 15 business days. Commodity or Service Required: Chameleon Software and Online Services Description: Lee County Animal Services seeks to execute a single source for the ongoing usage of Chameleon software and online services by HLP Inc. This software is used to manage records such as pet licensing and rabies vaccinations and uploads to the online database. Intended Single Source: HLP, Inc. Justification for Single Source Acquisition: HLP, Inc. is the sole owner and distributor of Chameleon Software Products & Services and the only company that offers custom integration with other software allowing products outside HLP to connect to the Chameleon proprietary database in a way that ensures the integrity of the database. The Chameleon Software Products provide the services and support for the continued integration into the Lee Domestic Animal Services system. Recommended Procurement Approach: For the reason(s) stated above, Lee County Procurement Management intends to utilize the Single Source Procurement method to purchase from HLP, Inc. for supplying the above.
