Business Hours: 8:30am - 5:00pm Plan Holders List: Bidders who download the plans are encouraged to contact the City of San Leandro Engineering and Transportation Department at 510-577-3428 to be placed on the project planholder’s list to receive courtesy notifications of addenda and other project information. Project addenda, if any, will be posted on the website. A bidder who fails to address all project addenda in its proposal may be deemed non-responsive. Qualifications: A Class “A” Contractor’s License is required for this work. No bid will be accepted from a contractor who has not been licensed in accordance with Chapter 9, Division 3 of the California Business and Professions Code. Miscellaneous: AMERCIAN IRON AND STEEL This Agreement is being funded with federal monies and have statutory requirements, commonly known as “American Iron and Steel” that requires all of the iron and steel products used in the project to be produced in the United States (“American Iron and Steel Requirement”) including iron and steel products provided by the Contactor pursuant to this Agreement. BUY AMERICA / BUILD AMERICA This Agreement is funded with federal monies and have statutory requirements per 2 CFR Park 184, commonly known as “Build America, Buy America,” that requires all of the iron and steel, manufactured products, and construction materials used in the project to be produced in the United States (“Build America, Buy America Requirements”) including iron and steel, manufactured products, and construction materials provided by the Contactor pursuant to this Agreement. Additionally, in accordance with Federal Uniform Guidance for Procurement 2 CFR 200.322, to the greatest extent practicable the Contractor shall provide a preference for the purchase, acquisition, or use of goods, products, or materials produced in the United States
RECOVERD MATERIALS In accordance with Federal Uniform Guidance for Procurement 2 CFR 200.323, to the greatest extent practicable, the Contractor shall comply with section 6002 of the Solid Waste Disposal Act, as amended by the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act. The requirements of Section 6002 include procuring only items designated at 40 CFR part 247 that contain the highest percentage of recovered materials practicable
