Project Description: The City of Waco, Texas, invites qualified vendors to submit bids for the procurement of one 600-HP vertical turbine pump, pump can, other appurtenances, one 2400V motor and one medium voltage motor controller as detailed in this Request for Bid (RFB) Document. The scope of this RFB includes approved vendors for the pump, motor and motor controller. Bidders are encouraged to submit proposals for the allowable manufacturers and models as indicated in the specifications of each unit outlined in Appendix D. The new pump (Pump 7) will expand the City of Waco’s transfer pumping capacity at its Mount Carmel Water Treatment Plant. The procured equipment will be installed by a General Contractor to be selected in a future RFB.
