Scope of Services
Coe Percussion LLC is the only vendor able to furnish a 5.0-Octave Custom Rosewood Marimba

with Black Composite Tunable Resonators and Aluminum/Wood Hybrid Height-Adjustable

Frame. This is the only marimba manufactured with this type of material for the frame

(aluminum profile combined with Maple wood) and the only marimba with composite

materials used for the resonators. This creates a much lighter-weight marimba which is

much easier to move and transport. The weight of this instrument is approximately 175lbs.

Other marimbas of this size from other manufacturers weigh closer to 300lbs. The use of

these special materials along with manufacturing methods unique to Coe Percussion, LLC

allow Coe Percussion LLC to offer this marimba at a lower price point than other

manufacturers of this same sized marimba.

Coe Percussion LLC is not only the vendor for this marimba, but also the manufacturer. Coe

Percussion LLC instruments are made completely by hand at our facility in Tallahassee,

Florida.
