Category: Road & Bridge Projects Status: Open Description: The proposed work includes: Applying asphalt rejuvenation products on selected streets in the following subdivisions: Country Club Manor, Imperial Hills, Meramec Estates, Country Ridge, Sandy Valley Acres, Liberty Ridge, and Village of Jefferson.
Work shall be in accordance with the provided Specifications, Job Special Provisions, and Plans. Where not specifically covered by the Specifications, or Job Special Provisions or Plans, the Contractor shall adhere to the currently effective Edition of the “Missouri Standard Specifications for Highway Construction”, and the currently effective “MoDOT Standard Plans for Highway Construction.” All work must be completed by November 30th, 2026.

BID NOTICESealed bids for 2026 Subdivision Pavement Surface Preservation PW26SUBPSP will be received at the office ofThe Department of the County Clerk, Jefferson County Administration Center, 729 Maple Street, Hillsboro,Missouri until 2:00 o'clock P.M. (CDT) on November 25th, 2025, and at that time will be publicly opened and read.All bids shall be submitted in triplicate in an opaque sealed envelope, marked with the Project title, name andaddress of the Bidder, and accompanied by the other required documents. Bids submitted electronically will berejected. Late Bids will not be accepted and will be returned to the sender, unopened.The proposed work includes: Applying asphalt rejuvenation products on selected streets in the followingsubdivisions: Country Club Manor, Imperial Hills, Meramec Estates, Country Ridge, Sandy Valley Acres, LibertyRidge, and Village of Jefferson.Work shall be in accordance with the provided Specifications, Job Special Provisions, and Plans. The bidder willbe responsible to check the County’s website for addendum(s) regarding this project prior to bid opening. Allpotential bidders must complete the “Plan Holder Contact Information” form and submit this form to Public Worksat pwprojects@jeffcomo.org and request placement on the bidder’s list.All labor used in the construction of this public improvement shall be paid a wage no less than the prevailing hourlyrate of wages of work, of a similar character in this locality, as established by the State of Missouri’s Annual WageOrder that is currently in effect at least 10 calendar days prior to bid opening.Jefferson County, Missouri hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract enteredinto pursuant to this advertisement, businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantagedindividuals will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not bediscriminated against on the grounds of race, color, religion, creed, sex, age, ancestry, or national origin inconsideration for an award.All bidders must be on MoDOT’s Qualified Contractor List per Section 102.2 of the Missouri StandardSpecifications for Highway Construction, 2025 Edition. The contractor questionnaire must be on file 7 daysprior to bid opening.Contractors and sub-contractors who sign a contract to work on any public works project must provide a minimum10-Hour OSHA construction safety program, or similar program approved by the Department of Labor andIndustrial Relations, to be completed by their on-site employees within sixty (60) days of beginning work on theconstruction project.A cashier’s check or bid bond in the amount of 5% shall be submitted with each proposal. A certificate of insuranceshall be submitted with each proposal.All bids shall be made on the forms provided. Three (3) copies of the bid must be submitted, one (1) being originalinked. Jefferson County, Missouri reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in the bidsreceived, and to award the contract to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder.END BID NOTICE
