Overview
City of Fanning Springs REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS FOR ENGINEERING AND ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES The City of Fanning Springs is advertising this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) from qualified individuals or firms to provide Engineering and Architectural Services for the design and permitting of a new fire station, with a possible option to enter into a continuing services contract in order to perform potential future projects if desired by the City. The City of Fanning Springs has been awarded funding through the Florida Department of Financial Services Division of State Fire Marshal to complete the design and permitting of new fire station. Services will include all tasks required to complete the initial planning and design phase from site study/analysis through the completion of construction plans and project budget. This may include, but is not be limited to the following tasks: complete project site study/assessment and building design/plans, compliance with all applicable environmental review requirements, develop building construction plans and an accurate cost estimates/budget, contract development (prepare and provide construction bidding and contract documents), and other requirements to prepare a “shovel ready project”.
