Project Description: The City of Tallahassee is soliciting sealed bids from qualified vendors to furnish and deliver Magnesium Hydroxide slurry for use in the City’s wastewater collection system for hydrogen sulfide control, odor control, and corrosion control. The City operates approximately 1,000 miles of sewer main and more than 114 pump stations and currently maintains nine (9) 6,000-gallon tanks and three (3) 1,500-gallon tanks at various locations throughout the system. The Contract will be a firm-fixed-price requirements contract for the supply, transportation, delivery, and offloading of Magnesium Hydroxide slurry to City-designated locations. The successful Bidder shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, transportation, pumps, hoses, fittings, valves, and all other incidental services necessary for complete delivery and offloading in accordance with the solicitation requirements. Product furnished must meet the City’s specifications, including required product data, third-party laboratory testing, and ANSI/NSF Standard 60 certification.
