Solano County Community-Driven Mini-Grants (May Mental Health Month Events) RFP

The California Mental Health Services Authority (CalMHSA), in collaboration with the Solano County Behavioral Health Department, is seeking proposals for community-driven mental health awareness events during Mental Health Awareness Month (May). Using Mental Health Services Ace (MHSA) Prevention and Early Intervention (PEI) funding, grants of $2,500-$5,000 will support one-time event programming across Solano County that promotes mental wellness connection, stigma reduction and suicide prevention with a focus on BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and other historically underserved communities. Eligible applicants include individuals, community-based organizations, cultural centers, advocacy groups, and grassroot organizations proposing culturally responsive activities such as peer-led discussions, healing circles, workshops, wellness or fitness events, film screenings, and mindfulness practices. Funded projects must align with MHSA PEI priorities, including outreach and education, prevention, stigma reduction, and suicide prevention. View RFP: https://calmhsa.bonfirehub.com/
