Notes	On behalf of the Food Science and Human Nutrition Department, Iowa State University is soliciting bids for a hyperspectral imaging system.  The equipment will be used in our dairy science research program to acquire high-resolution near-infrared (NIR) spectral images of cheese and other dairy products for non-destructive characterization of composition and quality attributes. The system will support the development of predictive models (e.g., moisture, fat, protein, and functional properties), process monitoring, and graduate student training in advanced imaging, chemometrics, and artificial intelligence. It is strongly preferred that the system be delivered, installed, and fully operational no later than August 30, 2026 Suppliers should read all materials carefully and note the due date. Suppliers must direct all questions and comments in reference to this RFP/RFQ to the University Representative using the QUESTIONS tab via this e-procurement system.
