Project Description: Mobile Shower Units (Statewide)
Providing access to sanitation facilities can build confidence and offer comfort to unhoused individuals. By meeting their basic hygiene needs, people are more likely to engage and participate in services such as:

mental Health and/or Substance Use Disorder treatment

housing readiness and navigation

employment support

Mobile Shower Units also create a trusted location where people can easily get referrals to services.

The Office of Mental Health has funding available for the one-time purchase and modification of a Mobile Shower Unit.
